Sorcerer

The sorcerer class has always felt like the magic users poor secondary choice. There are very few places that the sorc excels over the mage.
When it comes to multi-class, the penalties to spell count are felt even more acutely. The cl/so is no where near the potential support that the mu/cl is, and the dr/so slowdown to play is not balanced by the spell use during the challenge.

One possible option is to use mana-regen as trigger for spell retention. Sorc has a chance to not loose a spell on cast, and be able to recast it. Based on mana-regen, level, skill percent, and attributes.

Another, redo the mem function to a more dynamic time unit, instead of just tick. Remove multi-mem and change time to mem spells to a count based on seconds, instead of per minute.

Add more spells to the sorc class. Not really a fan of this as it pulls sorc away from being a sub-class of the mage and into it's own field. Possible add a mana shield type spell, or some channelled ability that makes a use of mana-regen. Channeling could increase spell damage, spell level, or speed of cast while active.

Redo spellfail. Break spellfail into separate categories, where anti-cleric gear affects cleric spells, and anti-mage gear affects mage spells. This could have a large affect on some tri-class loadouts. No reason why -sf gear could only affect the class it is usable for.

I think only single class ssorcerer needs to be looked at in my oopinion. Single class mage has some extra abilities.Specialization which is no fail cast. Look at maybe adjusting poly HP, and maybe polys for only ssorcerer.
can they have more spell damage? Why be single class sorcerer? Dual/tri-classes don't need sorcerer adjusted besides memorization time.
